II TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF SMART AND INNOVATIVE MOBILITY SERVICES FOR THE MOBILITYINNOVATION LIVING LABORATORY

 

On references to Article VII of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 27th March, 2017 (Report No 101-2017 refers) and Article VI of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 30th October, 2017 (Report No 354-2017 refers) there was submitted Report No 211-2018 by the Executive Director of City Development detailing tenders received and requesting a decision thereon.

(ii) agreed that no award be made under Lot 4, but instead an additional tender process be initiated with the aim of integrating the services provided through the projects detailed in (i) above and Appendix 2 of the report; and

 

(iii) agreed that approval be given for officers to negotiate time and financial amendments with Scotland's Smart City Programme office to allow for future Lot 4 alternatives.

 

III TENDERS RECEIVED BY THE HEAD OF DESIGN AND PROPERTY

 

There was submitted Report No 259-2018 by the Head of Design and Property detailing a tender received and requesting a decision thereon:-

 

(i) DUNDEE DOCK CYCLE ROUTE IMPROVEMENTS

 

The Committee agreed to accept an offer from Tayside Contracts in the sum of 309,549.72, to which required to be added allowances of 66,523, making a total expenditure of 376,072.72.
