I DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

There were no declarations of interest.

 

II AIR QUALITY UPDATE

 

There was submitted Report No 124-2026 by the Executive Director of City Development providing an update on the 2025 air quality monitoring data and Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) action measures progress. It also sought approval to submit the 2026 Dundee Low Emission Zone (LEZ) Annual Report to the Scottish Ministers.

 

The Committee agreed:-

 

(i) to note the positive results of air quality monitoring across Dundee that showed no exceedances of the statutory air quality objectives at reference monitoring locations during 2025 and to remit the Executive Director of City Development to submit the 2026 Air Quality Annual Progress Report (APR) to the statutory bodies; and

 

(ii) to remit the Executive Director of City Development to submit the 2026 Dundee LEZ Annual Report in Appendix 3 of the report to the Scottish Government in accordance with the legislative requirements of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2019.
