I TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF PESTICIDES 2000/01
There was submitted Report No. 641-2000 by the Director of Leisure and Parks recommending acceptance of the tender for the purchase of pesticides to control weed growth in perimeter borders, planted areas and hard standing areas.
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer for the supply of 12,000 kilos of Dichlobeil at a total cost of 29,400 from Rigby Taylor Ltd., Midlothian.
II LEASE OF ONE 3.5 TONNE TIPPER
There was submitted Report No. 640-2000 by the Director of Environmental & Consumer Protection seeking authority for leasing arrangements for one 3.5 tonne tipper vehicle.
The Committee agreed to accept the lowest offer of 12,791 from Mutch Tayside, Perth and Dundee for the supply of one 3.5 tonne tipper.
