I MINUTE
The minute of the meeting of the Superannuation Investment Sub-Committee of 24th May, 2000, a copy of which is appended hereto was submitted for information and record purposes.
II RELIEF OF RATES - CHARITY RELIEF
There was submitted Report No. 362-2000 by the Director of Finance seeking authorisation to grant charity relief on the undernoted non-domestic property. The Committee approved accordingly.

III SCOTTISH LOW PAY UNIT
The Committee agreed that a grant of 3,943.15 be paid to the Scottish Low Pay Unit.
IV ANNUAL SCOTTISH CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - THE INSTITUTE OF REVENUES RATING AND VALUATION
It was reported that the above conference and exhibition would be held in Glasgow on 21st and 22nd September, 2000.
The Committee authorised the attendance of one member of the Majority Group, one member of the Major Opposition Group and one member of the Minority Group at an estimated cost, excluding travel and subsistence of 300 per delegate.
V COUNCIL TAX PAYMENTS TO DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD BY PHONE
On a reference to Article IV of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 8th February 1999 and after considering Report No. 381-2000 by the Director of Finance relative to the above subject the Committee remitted to the Director to enter into a contract with MGT Limited to operate a payment by phone service until 31st March, 2001, it being noted that the cost in any financial year would be dependent on the take up level of service but was expected to be in the region of 15,000 per annum.
The Committee resolved under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 6 and 9 of Part 1 of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.
VI DUNDEE ENERGY RECYCLING LIMITED - MONITORING OF PROGRESS
On a reference to Article VI of the minute of meeting of this Committee of 8th November, 1999 there was submitted Report No. 336-2000 by the Director of Finance and Director of Environmental and Consumer Protection outlining progress on this project as at 31st March, 2000.
The Committee noted accordingly.
