The Convener agreed that this item be considered as a matter of urgency in terms of Standing Order No.51(3)(b) in view of the timescales involved.
I MODERNISING GOVERNMENT FUND
There was submitted Report No. 343-2000 by the Chief Executive advising the Committee of the Modernising Government Fund available to local authorities from the Scottish Executive.
The Committee agreed to submit a bid to the Modernising Government Fund for a project that would provide online booking facilities for arts and leisure activities through the Internet, Pinpoint Terminals and Digital Interactive TV.
