Food Waste Roadshows26/09/16
A series of drop in sessions will be held from this Wednesday (September 28) as food waste recycling is rolled out to more areas of Dundee.
Recycling staff will be available to answer questions and explain the new systems to local residents.
The service starts next month in parts of the city including parts of Ardler, Brackens, St Mary's, Downfield, Kirkton, Trottick, Lochee, Maryfield, Fintry, Claverhouse, Mill O' Mains, Linlathen, Whitfield, Liff Hospital, Craigie & the East End.
City Council depute neighbourhood services convener Councillor Kevin Cordell said: The council is working to make sure that local residents will have as much information as possible before the food waste service is introduced to their area.
“I would encourage people to come along and ask questions at the roadshows about any aspect of the service.”
