Pedal to the pool

A DOUBLE dose of free healthy activity has been launched in Dundee.

Any family who shows a selfie at the reception of a participating city swimming pool to prove they cycled to the venue will get the kids’ swim for nothing.

The scheme will be introduced on April 1 thanks to support from the Scottish Government’s Smarter Choices Smarter Places programme, Dundee City Council and Leisure and Culture Dundee.

Under the “Pedal to the Pool” initiative under 16s swim for free when the family arrives at Olympia, Lochee, Grove, Harris or St Paul’s swimming pool by bike.

Accompanying adults will pay normal price to swim and the offer is subject to Leisure and Culture Dundee’s Child Admission Policy at public swim sessions only.
