More than £1.2 million of improvements to open spaces and homes across Dundee will come before the Neighbourhood Services Committee on Monday (October 30).

Councillors will be asked to approve a range of improvements across the city – which include:

  • Playground Improvements – Various sites

  • Installing of electronic access control to Tennis Courts – Dawson Park

  • Cemetery Improvements

And councillors will also be told of works which started during the summer to improve for roof replacements across the city .

Neighbourhood Services Convener Kevin Cordell said: “This really is an important undertaking of work that we are looking to carry out across the city.

“This will see us improving the tennis facilities at Dawson Park, so the local community can enjoy tennis at night. We will be replacing the roofs of several properties across the city, and enhancing our playparks for children to enjoy at various locations across the city.

“The improvements are part of our commitment to making the city look more attractive by enhancing our local environment and improving houses.”
