The five sites are: Baldovie Transfer Station, Baldovie Recycling Centre, Riverside Recycling Centre, Riverside Landfill and Composting, and Marchbanks Reclamation Centre.
SEPA made this assessment based on two conditions: Environmental Limit Conditions, relating to emission limits and odour, and Environmental Management Conditions.
Councillor Kevin Cordell, Convener of Neighbourhood Services Committee said: “This is fantastic news, it’s great to see that for the past two years all of our sites have been rated excellent.
“The team here work really hard to ensure conditions are met and I am delighted that they are continuing to achieve this high standard.”
