Menzieshill Community Hub Official Opening14/11/19
Lord Provost Ian Borthwick has officially opened the new £13 million Menzieshill Community Hub today (Thursday November 14).
The building comprises of two sports halls, a library, a community centre with multi-purpose rooms and areas, as well as a café.
A varied programme of groups and activities is on offer, including opportunities delivered by the local community learning and development service such as daily youth work sessions and adult learning classes.
The building is open 7 days a week; from 9am to 10pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
The Lord Provost said: “Communities are at the heart of what makes this city such a warm and vibrant place.
“We understand the importance of giving our communities great facilities that meet their needs.
“I am sure that this new hub will make a difference to the people of Menzieshill and will enable this community to thrive.”
