Additional Garden Waste collection in 2022

Garden Waste Permit holders are being reminded of additional brown bin collections set to take place in 2022 following service disruptions earlier in the year.
As a result of industrial strike action which took place in August, some kerbside collections were missed or suspended as the council focused resources on waste recovery across the city.
In order for permit-holding householders to receive their full entitled number of garden waste collections in 2022, the council will provide additional kerbside garden waste collections.
Garden Waste collection service users are asked to present their brown bin for kerbside collection two weeks after the final garden waste collection date detailed on their collection calendar.
