Executive Director of Children and Families Service

Dundee City Council is confirming that Audrey May is being appointed as Executive Director of its Children and Families Service on a permanent basis.
Audrey previously served as Head of Education from 2017, before taking up the role of interim Executive Director role at the end of 2021.
A native of Dundee, Audrey began her teaching career in the city.
She said: “I am honoured to be taking on the position of executive director.
“We have committed teams that are working hard every day and it is a privilege to continue to lead this service into the future.”
Councillor Stewart Hunter, convener of the children and families service committee, said: “I would like to congratulate Audrey on what is an excellent appointment.
“I look forward to continuing our efforts on behalf of the children, young people and families of this city.”
