Schools Closed For Strike Days Feb 28/Mar 1

All Dundee City Council primary schools, secondary schools and special schools will be CLOSED to all pupils on Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1 due to industrial action.

The closures on February 28 and March 1 will also involve Kingspark School and the Rockwell Learning Centre. 

However, ALL Dundee City Council nurseries will be open to children as normal. Please note that this includes nurseries attached to primary schools as well as standalone settings. 

Industrial action is being taken by members of the EIS, SSTA, AHDS and NASUWT unions over national pay negotiations. 

Arrangements are being made for free school meal payments to be made directly to qualifying households. 

All establishments will reopen on Thursday, March 2.
