All Dundee City Council-run nurseries and schools will be closed on Monday May 8, the day of the public holiday to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

Council offices will also be closed on Monday, and only emergency and critical cover will be provided.

Household bin, recycling and trade waste collections will be suspended.

Household bin and recycling collections scheduled for Monday will be carried out the following day.

The recycling centres at Baldovie and Riverside will also be closed on Monday.

Emergency housing repairs will continue. The Safety Alarm and Response Centre team and Community Safety Wardens will be working as normal.

There will be normal care service delivery, including meals, for those who receive this in their own homes. The Employment Support Service will be closed, as will most day services. Sheltered housing complexes will be open.

All services will resume on Tuesday May 9, and nurseries, schools and offices will reopen.
