Waste Management arrangements for services that were suspended on Friday 20th October are as follows:

Kerbside general (grey wheelie bin) collections will be collected on Monday 23rd October.

Kerbside recycling (blue & burgundy wheelie bins) collections please present your bin on the next scheduled collection date. Additional neatly stored recyclable material will be accepted at the next collection.

Kerbside food waste collections please present your food waste caddy on the next scheduled collection date.

Garden waste (brown wheelie bin) collections an extra collection date proportionate to the collection period missed will be provided at the end of the subscription year in December. Customers will be advised of the additional date in due course.

Communal euro bin collections (including communal food waste bins) these bins will be emptied on the next scheduled collection date. Collection teams will prioritise areas such as multi storey developments with waste chute bin systems.

Commercial waste collections please present your bin on the next scheduled collection date.

Bulky/Special collections will be collected on Monday 23rd October.

Household waste recycling centres

Riverside Recycling Centre is closed due to flooding. The on-site submersible pumping system will take some time to displace the existing flood water.

 

Please note the above arrangements are subject to review and there may be continued localised disruption due to waste and recycling collection routes being inaccessible as a result of the severe weather. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
