Works to refurbish two lifts at one of the city’s multi storey blocks is more than halfway towards completion.
The lift serving the even numbered floors at Dudhope Court has been given a complete overhaul and is now back in full operation, while work on the lift serving odd floors is now underway.
Mark Flynn convener of the council’s neighbourhood regeneration, housing and estate management committee said: "We are spending almost £300,000 to ensure that residents have a reliable service and the main and sub-contractor on the job are both Dundee-based helping to protect the city's workforce." It is expected that the whole project will be finished by October.
