New Council telephone system

Dundee City Council is moving to a new telephone system on Monday, September 28.

This is a major project to modernise how we communicate and enhance customer experience.

To facilitate the move, Council telephone numbers will be unavailable for a short time from 5.30pm on September 28.

It’s anticipated that this will last no more than 90 minutes. We will do everything possible to minimise disruption and apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

During that period, council tenants requiring emergency housing repairs can contact 07557 256932.

Community Safety requests can be made via 07879 800990. Anyone with an urgent concern for an adult or child should contact the relevant emergency service.

Following the change to the new system, members of the public will be able to call the Council switchboard or individual extensions as normal.
