Storm Floris

An Amber weather warning is in place until 11pm today (August 4) as Storm Floris brings very strong winds to Dundee and surrounding areas.

Dundee City Council is monitoring the storm and services may be subject to disruption as the day progresses:

All scheduled household bin, recycling and trade waste collections for today (August 4) will be suspended at noon.

Residents/businesses are asked to remove any wheelie bins or food waste caddies from the kerbside after that time.

Any collections that were scheduled and not completed on August 4 will be returned for on Tuesday, August 5.

Please re-present your wheelie bins or food waste caddies from 7.30am on August 5.

Baldovie & Riverside Recycling Centres will close at noon on August 4. Both recycling centres are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, August 5 at 9am.

Public toilets will be closing early today.
