Dundee City Council's energy consumption in its buildings decreased from 19,482 tonnes CO2 in 2023/24 to 19,174 tonnes CO2 in 2024/25 (each reporting year is financial year).

Dundee City Council's Net Zero Transition Plan 2024/30 commits Dundee City Council to being a net zero organisation by 2038 and will allow Dundee City Council to effectively and decisively lead this transition to a low carbon and climate resilient City.
