Business Rates Data
This report lists all current non domestic rates properties and provides
- Assessors Reference,
- Property Address (including postcode)
- Liable Party Name
- Current rateable Value
- Property Description
- Account Start Date
- Last 2023 Rateable value with start date
- Gross Liability for year
- Total amount of Reliefs/Exemptions
- Net Liability
- Empty Property status
We will publish these reports on a quarterly basis in March, June, September and December. We will not provide individual responses to requests during the year for similar information but will re-direct requests to our published list of reports held on this webpage.
Please note that information detailing current awards of reliefs and exemptions can be found under the Rates Relief Recipients – Publication of Data section of this webpage.
Limitation of Data Published
To comply with data protection legislation, some information will not be provided to protect individuals rights e.g.
- Where the ratepayer is an individual, we will redact the ratepayer name
- We will not provide any contact details (e.g. contact addresses, email addresses) as these may include personal data.
- Account reference numbers are not included as these are personal to the account.
The ratepayer is the person liable to pay the charge. It is not possible to identify the owners from our records.

Credit Balances
This report lists all properties in Dundee that have a credit balance on their business rates account.
