Volunteers' Week

As part of this year’s Volunteers’ Week, 1st to 7th June, volunteers are being thanked for their efforts in supporting the city’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Council has been taking nominations from the public for individuals who have gone above and beyond in serving their community.

Dundee City Council Leader John Alexander said: “The response of people across Dundee to the Coronavirus crisis has been nothing short of magnificent.

“Volunteers have contributed considerably. People have helped in so many ways and their efforts are making a real difference to people’s lives in their local communities and throughout the city.

“It’s important that we all use the opportunity of Volunteers’ Week to recognise the individuals and groups who have stepped up at this critical time.”

Nominated volunteers will receive a letter of thanks from the Leader of Dundee City Council as a sign of gratitude for their efforts in supporting others.
