Background

Passive smoking kills 865 life long non-smokers in Scotland every year.
There is no safe level of exposure to inhalation of second hand tobacco smoke.
The Scottish Parliament has voted to introduce legislation to protect people in Scotland from the harmful effects of passive smoking.
