Licensing Sub-committee - 30/09/2002

At a MEETING of the RENEWAL OF LICENCE SUB-COMMITTEE held at Dundee on 30th September, 2002.

Unless marked thus * all items stand delegated.

 

The Committee resolved, under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 that the public be excluded from the meeting for the undernoted items of business on the grounds that this would involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 3, 6 and 9 of Part 1 of Schedule 7(A) of the above Act.

 

I CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982 - TAXI DRIVER'S LICENCE - RENEWAL

 

1. There was submitted an application by Mr G A for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

2. There was submitted an application by Mr R A for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

3. There was submitted an application by Mr S A for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

4. There was submitted an application by Mr J B for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

5. There was submitted an application by Mr G B for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to the meeting of the Licensing Committee to allow the applicant to be present.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be refused.

 

6. There was submitted an application by Mr P B for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

7. There was submitted an application by Mr D C for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant. Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

8. There was submitted an application by Mr D C for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to the meeting of the Licensing Committee to allow the applicant to be present.

 

9. There was submitted an application by Mr M D for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be refused.

 

10. There was submitted an application by Ms K D for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to the meeting of the Licensing Committee to allow the applicant to be present.

 

11. There was submitted an application by Mr S F for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

12. There was submitted an application by Mr D G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and information on a further incident.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

13. There was submitted an application by Mr W G for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

14. There was submitted an application by Mr J McK for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application and a letter of explanation which had been submitted by the applicant.

 

Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

15. There was submitted an application by Mr B McL for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

16. There was submitted an application by Mr S M for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to the meeting of the Licensing Committee to allow the applicant to be present.

 

17. There was submitted an application by Mr P M for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be refused.

 

18. There was submitted an application by Mr F M for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

19. There was submitted an application by Mr F N for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard an agent on behalf of the applicant, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

20. There was submitted an application by Mr W N for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard the applicant on his own behalf, the Sub-Committee agreed that the application be granted.

 

21. There was submitted an application by Mr K R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed that consideration of this application be deferred to the meeting of the Licensing Committee to allow the applicant to be present.

 

22. There was submitted an application by Mr A R for renewal of his Taxi Driver's Licence.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter of representation which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.
