Door Stewards Registration Sub-committee - 02/07/2003

At a MEETING of the DOOR STEWARDS REGISTRATION SUB-COMMITTEE of the DUNDEE CITY LICENSING BOARD held at Dundee on2nd July 2003.

I LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1976 - REGULAR EXTENSION - APPLICATION FOR DOOR STEWARDREGISTRATION (PROVISIONAL)

 

There was submitted an application by Mr M D for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application. Part of the letter referred to convictions which were spent in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and after hearing the Chief Constable's representative as to their age and nature the Sub-Committee agreed they may be considered since justice could not otherwise be done.

 

Thereafter having heard from the applicant on his own behalf the Sub-Committee agreed to grant the application.

 

There was submitted an application by Mr A H for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application. Part of the letter referred to convictions which were spent in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and after hearing the Chief Constable's representative as to their age and nature the Sub-Committee agreed they may be considered since justice could not otherwise be done.

 

Thereafter having heard from the applicant on his own behalf the Sub-Committee agreed to delegate to the Clerk to grant the application on receipt of appropriate documentation.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr D J for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having noted that the applicant was not present the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr R K for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having noted that the applicant was not present the Sub-Committee agreed to defer the application.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr J L for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard from the applicant on his own behalf the Sub-Committee agreed to defer the application.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr G M for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard from the applicant on his own behalf agreed to grant the application.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr P M for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard from the applicant on his own behalf the Sub-Committee agreed to refuse the application.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr A McC for provisional registration as a door steward.

 

The Sub-Committee gave consideration to a letter which had been submitted by the Chief Constable relative to this application.

 

Thereafter having heard from the applicant on his own behalf the Sub-Committee agreed to grant the application.

 

There was submitted an application from Mr W McP for provisional registration as a door steward.
