Industrial strike action notice for city's waste services

Dundee City Council has been issued with notice that employees that are Unite the Union members will undertake industrial strike action later this month.
The strike action will impact on the city’s waste services and street cleansing services beginning from the start of Wednesday 14th August until the end of Wednesday 21st August.
The Council is focused on fully recovering the city’s waste services as soon as possible following this strike period.
The industrial action relates to national pay negotiations and it is understood that COSLA remains in a constructive dialogue with employee representatives.
Residents will be made aware of any future developments on changes to the city’s services at the earliest opportunity via the Dundee MyBins App, the Dundee City Council website, and the Council’s Twitter/X & Facebook pages.
