Strike action suspended

Dundee City Council has been made aware that waste services employees within Unite the Union have suspended their previously planned industrial strike action following a revised pay offer from COSLA.

Therefore, all waste and recycling collections will go ahead as scheduled and the Household Waste Recycling Centres at Baldovie & Riverside will both be open as normal.

The Council is asking residents to continue separating their waste into their appropriate bins and to make full use of the services available to recycle.

Members of the public can keep up-to-date with the latest waste service news through the Dundee MyBins App which is available for mobile and tablet devices for both Android and iOS users.

Council service updates and information can also be found on the Dundee City Council website, the Council’s Twitter/X or Facebook pages.
