Have Your Say on Future City Development

Residents of Dundee now have another opportunity to voice their opinions and help shape the future of development in the city.
Due to be published in 2028, the Local Development Plan (LDP) will set out the land use strategy to guide future development of land and buildings.
The first stage of this new LDP focuses on producing an Evidence Report. This report will consist of a collection of topic papers on planning themes in accordance with National Planning Framework 4 set out by the Scottish Government.
The Council is engaging on what evidence is required to inform future stages of the Local Development Plan preparation.
The latest two topics which are now open for comment are:
- Business and Industry, Brownfield, Vacant and Derelict Land and Buildings
- Water Environment, Open Space, Play and Sport
You can participate directly and share your views on the council’s website.
People can also email localdevplan@dundeecity.gov.uk to request a survey in an alternative format.
Comments on the latest two topics should be submitted by 2 October 2024.
Further updates will be given when other topics are open for comment.
More information on the Dundee Local Development Plan Review is available on the council’s website.
