Football Restricted Parking Zone Extended

Football fans are being advised that the restricted matchday parking zone around Dens and Tannadice parks has been extended.
Changes have been brought in by Dundee City Council following feedback from local residents.
The original match day scheme covered the area bounded by Dens Road, Caird Avenue, Clepington Road, Court Street North and Arklay Street.
This has now been extended to include includes parts of Tannadice Street/Court, Arklay Court, Wolseley Street, Clepington Street, Dundonald Court and Strathmore Street.
New signage is being installed around the extended zone. You can find full details on the council's website here.
Residents living within the extended zone need to apply for a free permit if they own a car. Blue badge holders will still be able to use the streets at all times.
Details on how residents can apply for a permit can be found here.
Under the scheme parking attendants have a list to identify vehicles that are permitted to be within the area when matches are being played.
The council is speaking to both senior football clubs about the changes.
Supporters are being encouraged to park outside the zone to avoid a fine.
