(Community Learning and Development)
The Community Learning and Development (CLD) team helps communities and people of all ages who may need extra support. Our teams offer youth work, adult learning and community support across Dundee. We help people learn new skills, feel more confident and get involved in their community.
Our work with young people involves supporting key transitions, providing school-based and diversionary programmes, building skills for life and work, promoting health and wellbeing, and helping young people have their voices heard.
Our work with adults includes help with reading, writing, numbers and English, citizen education, suppot to community groups and health projects.
We also lead Dundee's Local Community Planning work and CLD Plan.
You can find support in community centres and other places across Dundee. Our aim is to help people have better opportunities and support communities to become stronger.
