The school exclusion rate for care experienced children per 1,000 pupils in the academic year 2024/25 was 127.0, a increase from 73.9 in 2023/24.
This is an indicator included within the Local Government Benchmarking Framework (LGBF) The data is sourced from the Scottish Government's Children's Social Work Statistics: Looked After Children publication. This includes care experienced children who Dundee City Council is responsible for, but also includes children who attend school outwith the local authority.
The Benchmark Target is the average of Dundee City Council's family group of similar local authorities.
