Case Study – Client X
We supported a single mum who had lost her job and was desperately looking to get back into work.
The initial contact was made via our Messenger and she was quickly referred to a member of the Dundee City Council Adult Employability Team.
A team member completed a registration and discussed the Local Labour Market, CVs and jobs. She was then supported with a creating a CV, filling in job applications and a mock interview.
Our customer secured an interview with a local employer in the care sector and was successful in getting the job!
Another part of our service is that we can provide living expenses and travel for people going into work. Therefore we were able to provide our customer with this.
Due to lockdown, it was difficult in being able to get these vouchers and bus passes to our customer as we would usually do this face to face. However, the Dundee Adult Employability Team went above and beyond to support our customer and we delivered these to her home….from a responsible distance of course!
