Public Access  Service Interruption

Due to an essential upgrade, the Planning and Building Standards Public Access service will be unavailable between 07:00 hours Monday 28 July until 17:00 hours Tuesday 29 July 2025.

During this time there will no access to any online content including both the Planning and Building Standards Registers and associated documents. 

It will not be possible to submit planning application comments online during the upgrade period  however comments can still be forwarded by written letter and email to planning.info@dundeecity.gov.uk along with any enquiries relating to planning applications.

Please email bs@dundeecity.gov.uk for enquiries relating to the Building Standards register during this time.

Planning Payments

Payments for Planning applications can no longer be made at Dundee House and should now be made using one of the following methods:

by credit or debit card by telephoning 01382 433066, selecting option 1 then select to pay council invoice (option 6).

Or alternatively

by bank transfer to:

Please use either the Planning application or E-planning online reference as a payment reference where possible.

Once payment has been made, emailing planning.info@dundeecity.gov.uk to advise will assist in the progress of your application.

Please note that in accordance with Section 33 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 as amended, a 25% surcharge for retrospective applications is required.  This means that where any part of the development for which permission is sought has commenced, an additional 25% in addition to the normal application fee is required.  Applications will not be made valid until the full fee (including the 25% surcharge where required) is paid.
