Meet Bolt! ⚡🐾
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 1 Year Old
Gender: Male
Size: Large
Coat: Short (White & Fawn)
Bolt is a sweet-natured, fun-loving boy looking for a loving home where he can shine! He originally came to us as an unclaimed stray and has recently returned to the kennels as his previous adopters struggled to manage his strength and high energy levels.
At just 1 year old, Bolt is an enthusiastic, bouncy teenager with a huge heart. He is full of playfulness, loves going out on adventures, and—as an added bonus—is remarkably well-behaved when it’s bath time!
Because Bolt is a young, strong Lurcher, he will need an active owner with previous sighthound experience who can commit to continuing his training and lead handling.
Bolt’s Ideal Home:
Family & Household: Looking for an experienced home with no children under 12 years old. Bolt is not suitable to live with cats or small furries.
Other Dogs: He can be excitable and vocal when he spots other dogs out and about. He could potentially live with a compatible dog, subject to successful meet-and-greets at the kennels.
Routine & Company: Bolt experiences separation anxiety and needs a family where someone is home for most of the day. His new owners will need to work on gradually building up his alone time over a patient, extended period.
If you have the time, patience, and sighthound experience to give this lively lad the structure and furever home he deserves, we’d love to hear from you!
