Sophie has unfortunately been brought back to us because her new owner decided they could not work on her anxiety's and behaviour. We are saddened by this because we hope that every dog we rehome will be to a forever home.
Please read all Sophie's criteria carefully before contacting us as she has very specific requirements.
1. Sophie is an extremely anxious dog and will need a long time to decompress and settle into a new environment. This could take her months to achieve.
2. She would be best suited to a quiet household where there are enough people so that she wouldn't have to be left alone very often.
3. Her new humans will have to be very gentle and calm natured, with the patience to allow her the time that she needs to trust them.
4. Due to her separation anxiety she will be destructive if left alone and will poo/pee due to stress.
5. She may cope with a dog her size or smaller but would find a bigger dog too intimidating.
6. Her behaviours are all likely linked to being passed around multiple homes in such a short space of time, her next home must be her forever home!
We believe that she will make a lovely family addition provided all her training is taken slowly and her owners are patient and understanding of her anxieties.
