Applying for Benefits and Grants content
Due to Scotland being placed in Tier 4 with effect from Saturday 26 December and in line with Government advice, we have made a number of changes to how we operate in order to control the spread of the virus and protect both you and our staff (updated 23 December).
Please be advised that with effect from Tuesday 29 December 2020 there will be no face to face enquiries or cashier facilities available at Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, Dundee.
The East District Housing Office, 169 Pitkerro Road, Dundee and the West District Housing Office, 3 Sinclair Street, Lochee, Dundee will also remain closed.
We want you to know you can continue to access our services in ways other than coming in to the office.
Applications for benefits and grants can be made online or via telephone. These include applications for Community Care Grants, Crisis Grants, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs) and any changes which may affect your Council Tax. Council Tax payments can also be made online or via telephone. Bill payers can also set up a Direct Debit or report a change of address using these methods.
