On Friday 30th May, you are invited to celebrate the community of Lochee, with a jampacked day of history, creativity and fun at the Lochee Community Hu s Community Open Day! Kicking off at 11am, the day will have a bit of something for everyone, with a chance to see images and hear stories from throughout Loche s history, learn more about the organisations that offer support across Lochee, and get involved with many exciting stalls and activities.
All are invited to attend this free event. There will also be a range of activities and stalls to explore. With Fruitbowls community garden selling plants, Lochee Linties and others performing live, a creative activity with Art Angels for all the family, and face painting from 2pm onwards. We will also have tea, coffee and lunch available.
The day will also see the launch of the My Lochee exhibition; sharing stories and images from Lochee's past, and the people who make Lochee what it is today. Come along to share your own memories of Lochee and leave your thoughts about what you hope to see across the community in the future.
Free entry, pop in anytime between 11am and 4pm.
Lochee Linties will be kicking off the celebration with a performance at 11am.
Fruitbowls plant stall will be on the High Street all day.
Facepainting will be available from 2-4pm.
Art Angel zine making workshop from 2-4pm.
