What's On - Design the tartan for Tayside Mountain Rescue

Join UNESCO City of Design Dundee at one of their free workshops to design a tartan for Tayside Mountain Rescue!

UNESCO City of Design Dundee have been working in partnership with Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and Andie Sewing School on a national competition for young people aged up to 18, to create the tartan for Tayside Mountain Rescue and their Hamish the highland coo mascot.

You can drop-in between 1-3pm to our workshop to learn how to create your own tartan through colour theory and paper weaving, before submitting your design to the competition!

These workshops are suitable for young people age 4-18. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
