What's On - Poetic Gems for Topaz: Verses for the Bicentenary of McGonagall by the Wyvern Poets

The Wyvern Poets will share their verses written to celebrate the life, works and legacy of William Topaz McGonagall. Even now, 200 years after his birth, the unusual perspectives on people and events which he wove into his rhyming poetry have the capacity to disturb our expectations. You will hear our poems as we recognise his enduring impact, which has spread far beyond the city he called home. The Wyvern Poets meet in Dundee to discuss their poems written on a fresh topic each month.
