Award-winning designer Hayley Scanlan comes to The McManus for a hands-on fashion workshop for ages 8-14.

Calling all young creatives aged 8–14 years! Join award-winning designer Hayley Scanlan for a fun, hands-on fashion workshop where you’ll design and create your very own tote bag from start to finish.

What you’ll learn:
• The fashion design process
• Current design trends and inspiration
• How to create mood boards
• Fashion illustration techniques
• Pattern cutting basics
• Fabric exploration
• Sewing machine skills
• Garment and accessory construction
• Creating a mock-up before making your final tote bag

What you’ll make:
A unique tote bag designed and sewn by you!

All materials and equipment provided.

Suitable for ages 8–14 years.
No previous sewing experience required.
Please note that the person collecting the child must be over the age of 16.
