The Wellgate Comic Con Takeover is Back!

Mark your calendars, Dundee. The city’s biggest free geek event is putting the 'heart' back into comics this Valentine’s Day.

On Saturday 14th February 2026, BGCP is returning to flood the Wellgate Shopping Centre from 10am to 4pm with heroes, villains, and enough loot to fill the Batcave.

Forget the boring chocolates and overpriced dinners. Whether you are looking for the perfect alternative Valentine’s date, a budget-friendly family day out, or just a solo mission to hunt down rare Funko Pops, this is the ultimate place to be this February.

What to Expect at the Wellgate Comic Con
We are transforming the shopping centre into a sprawling pop-culture market filled to the brim with incredible independent creators and traders. You will be able to browse dozens of stalls offering a massive variety of geeky goods you simply can’t find on the high street.

Horror Merchandise and Alternative Art: Perfect for fans of the macabre.

Cosplay, Characters, and Free Family Fun

Keep your cameras ready! Our amazing cosplay team will be patrolling the mall all day, bringing your favourite characters to life. Expect to see everyone from Marvel superheroes and Star Wars Sith Lords to beloved anime characters.

Kids (and adults!) are highly encouraged to dress up. Whether you are rocking a full, handmade suit of Mandalorian armour or just throwing on your favourite Spider-Man t-shirt, the comic con community is incredibly welcoming.
